2014 Tax Forms & Information

The arrival of print forms and booklets from the federal government will be delayed; We anticipate their arrival in mid to late February. We do have Michigan booklets.  Our library staff will help you find and print the forms and instruction pages you need for $ .20 per page.   However, library staff are not permitted to provide instruction or guidance toward the completion of any part of a tax form.

Local “Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA)” information:

Cheboygan VITA will be preparing income tax returns, both federal and state, free for anybody making less than $50,000 per year every Thursday, beginning February 9 through April 12.  Tax preparers will be available at the Senior Center from Noon to 3:30. Appointments must be scheduled in advance by calling 231-436-5323 or 436-5626.
