Find the worth of your family treasures at the Mackinaw Area Public Library’s Antiques Appraisal Clinic between 10 am and 5 pm on Tuesday, August 4.  The library is hosting this event to coincide with the 46th Annual Antique Show & Sale, hosted by the Mackinaw Woman’s Club, which is held across the street at the school.

An appraiser from DuMouchelles Art Gallery of Detroit will be available at the library to provide verbal appraisals for items brought in by attendees.

All appraisals are by appointment only, so please call ahead to schedule.  By scheduling your appointment, you may bring in up to 3 antiques and collectibles for a verbal approximation of value from an antiques expert.

The fee per item is $10, which will be used to purchase archival supplies for storing Michigan Room items.

Please join us at the library at 528 W. Central Avenue in Mackinaw City anytime between 10 am and 4 pm to observe the fun, or call ahead to make your appointment for appraisal.  For more details, contact the library at 231-436-5451, mackinaw1@gmail.com
